A LITTLE ABOUT SUNNY:
Hi I’m Sunny! Throughout my life I played competitive basketball, volleyball, karate, and kick boxing, and currently I have a strong interest in Olympic weightlifting. Even from a young age, I had a strong interest in human kinetics, anatomy, physiology, and sports. While participating in these sports, I received my fair share of injuries. My experience with receiving my own Physical Therapy treatment made me realize I wanted to pursue a career in physiotherapy. As a result, I went on to complete my BSc in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in Halifax and finished with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta.

Janie Pollard
Physiotherapist
Bsc.PT, BKin
A little about Janie:
Hi everyone, I’m Janie! I grew up in a small town just north of Edmonton, and have always had a love for sports and movement. As a kid, I spent most of my time in ballet classes, or playing volleyball and basketball.
An overuse injury from dance first introduced me to physical therapy, and this experience was so impactful that it inspired my career.
I am passionate about helping and uplifting others, and physical therapy allows me to do exactly that. I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology and my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in December, both from the University of Alberta.
Outside of the clinic, you can usually find me at the gym, exploring new yoga classes, cheering on the Edmonton Oilers (win or lose), or at the bookstore finding my next read.
